This was a project I never thought I'd return to, but here I am. The old quote, "Art is never finished, only abandoned," struck me the day I started remastering this piece. I took new approaches and made this pop more using what I know now. When I finished the original work in 2014, I was most impressed, as I was barely starting to get a handle on digital painting. I looked at it recently and thought the image was rather dull now. I am much happier with the results that came from my second attempt.

The old and the new. Side by side.
